LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that Pakistan wants to end visa restrictions with India

While addressing the inaugural session of 4th International Alhamra Literary & Culture at a certificate distribution ceremony, the PM said that a chance must be given to Pak-India talks again after general elections in India.

"We want better relations with India and we have never used slogans against them during our election campaign," the premier added.

He lauded Intizar Hussain, Attaul Haq Qasmi and other writers’ services and termed them as the asset of the nation.

He congratulated the organizers of the conference, saying bringing the people from across the globe, especially from India and Bangladesh is a great achievement.

Appreciating Bangladeshi writers' participation in the conference, he said we should not forget our history as we can make our future bright by learning from mistakes in past.
